A person’s belief system is powerful. There is (still) right and wrong.

“when the state becomes your god”:

Different people have different  chosen “higher powers”.

They choose. They have chosen.

What makes a soldier feel he is justified to shoot and kill another man?

The state is his god. He looks to the state to tell him when it is “day”, when it is “night”. He looks to the state to “let him know” what is “wrong” and what is “right”. Why is it OK to smoke pot? The state does nothing to stop it. There are “unwritten laws” and the young men are so understanding of this. Why do so many girls get daped raped? Because that is something that is “so hard to prosocute,” says the attorney. The attorney, an intergral (and big part of) the bigger whole of that system which is ”the state”.

Does the state run everything? It tries to. Is the state then, against the real God? Well, of course. Think about it, and think logically. Is the state then, against the real one true God?

Does the state want the people to love The Lord? Absolutely not. This takes power away from them. They want all the power, don’t you know.

They watch you day in and day out. The UK punk band, the subhumans wrote and sang about this very fact that was happening to them in England at the time— but remember, it’s the same empire that runs both the US and the UK. Or maybe you thought the pres. and the queen are such good buddies because they share a common love for their nation’s people. I mean, if the current pres loved people any more than he does, we’d probably all be in a pine box right now. Way to “love and care”. That’s what he says he does, right? But is not what he does, instead hate.

God never preached hate. He was and is the opposite of that. Think about God’s teachings… Think about what he told his follower Peter when Peter rebelled against the soldier and cut his ear with his own sword. God turned to Peter and told him, that is not His way. That was one teaching of many that God taught when He was here the first time. This entire wolrd belongs to God. There are some people in this world who have made it their business to be caretakers of things that God has given them. Then there are those who try and force others to do what they want them to do.

“Kill your television” was a slogan the punkers took on and preached back in the late 70’s, early 80’s. The hippie movement before them tried to seperate themselves from the evil and tumultous violent acts of the government back in that era when the current war being faught was Vietnam. War. War. War…

God is against war. He spoke about peace. Men who are against peace are against God.

Are you doing something productive for the movement when you smoke a jount after work to “unwind”. No. To be a part of the movement of individuals really digging down deep and wanting to be a better person than the evil criminals they see running things, you must want to be a productive part. I think drugs are evil. So, to those of you who feel you’re too good to be bothered by what you consider “such trivial dialect”, I would have to say to you then, what are you contributing. Evil begets evil. Drugs either lead to or stem from violence, crimes, adultery, theft, and a life that is eventually controlled by those drugs. In the beginning, as anything evil, it lies to you. It lets you feel (for a time) that you are in control. It lets you think you can put it down any time you want to. It lets you think that you can still love your girlfriend or boyfiend while you are doing drugs.

The state wants to control you so much that the day will come when they actually make it a law that you must be sealed with the microchip. That probably scares some of you. Who is the only one who saves? God is. He is the only one who can save you from that if so chooses you. What have you done for Him lately? Smoking cigarettes, smoking pot, watching TV, watching movies, listening to most pop music, do not get you closer with God. I would say that the time is now, if that’s what you choose to do. No one can stop you from this except you. If you have become your own worst enemy, then ask Him to help you with that… There is NOTHING He can not do.

“I am an anarchist!”- Sex Pistols

Posted by zermerkle on March 9, 2008

I live in Miami now. A few years ago, I lived in New York, on Long Island. I was in an all grrrl punk band. My first band ever. We broke up. Hey… live and learn. Maybe it’ll work next time around.  Anyway, I wanted to comment on how very GREAT it was to be in NY for that time. Some of my favorite things there were of course, The Village. You know how you walk down one road and feel what you feel there. Well, walking down the streets in The Village for the first times were like walking through a real place. I mean, alive with people and alive with rich history. Rich American history. The Ramones played there at CBGB’s. CBGB’s is still there (although punk hasn’t been really living there at that club for a while). Some bands are great. Some bands live on forever and keep inspiring the next generation. They are so alive and so elecrtic that even if you don’t get to see them perform live, their spirit still can reach you through CD’s they’ve recorded, or even by watching a video of them. Patti Smith wrote in New York. She was a feminist! Maybe ahead of her time. Who cares. She was there. She was alive and she inspired generations to come. I love people like this for the work they have done. They have touched my life in a positive way, when so very many have done their part to reap destruction. Funny how even just a few bright lights in the world bring so much light. God bless them.
