A Few Ways You Can Defend Yourself
Posted by grrrlriot on April 3, 2008
I got this from http://grrrlatrix.tripod.com/survival.htm.
Here are the main ways you can defend yourself:
This means:
Your fingers in their eyes
The side of your hand, striking their throat
Your knee in their groin
Your hand crushing their testicles
But also:
Your elbow in their ribs
Stomping on their feet
Well aimed punches and kicks (details of how, to come later)
Making a loud noise. Shout anything (”help”, “stop” “no, no, no”) as loudly as you can, throughout the entire attack to attract attention. Sometimes just hearing this response is enough to scare off an attacker)
*These tips are based on assuming that your attacker is a male.

Awesome that you are doing this. I post lots of great info and news related to self defense on my blog as well. Please check me out some time. Because I believe in self defense, I carry a lipstick pepper spray when traveling to discreetly ward of any possible attacks. I haven’t had to use it, but I sure do feel confident. I found it at http://www.diyselfdefense.com and purchased a pepper spray pager for my mom at http://www.2dsecurity.com.

Hello everyone,
My name is David and I am the owner of Own Defense. I am involved with Non Lethal Self Defense. Like most people I am not an experts in karate
or some type of fighting technique. You may not own a gun or simply don’t like guns. So for the most part we would like to have a way to protect ourself and love ones from harm. That is where Non lethal defense products come into play, such as pepper spray with a UV dye that could be used in a police lineup. Stun gun that would make the attacker muscles go wild with know lasting effects. Do you travel a lot. The personal travel alarm are a very popular items that hang from the door know and sounds an alarm when the knob is being turn. If you would like to find out more about these items and much more check out my business and see the different ways of protecting yourself from harm.

if you can get a CCW (concealed weapons permit) in your state invest in a Walther PPK .380 & a couple of boxes of Federal Hydrashok rounds. They’re really great self defense rounds that expand on impact & usually will stop in the target (to prevent any unneeded injury).
